About LoanCalc.tech

Independent finance tools, verified math, real numbers

LoanCalc.tech is an independent personal-finance publisher building free, locale-aware calculators and long-form guides for borrowers and savers. We do not lend money, sell loans, or accept paid lender placements.

Our mission

Most loan and mortgage calculators on the open web are either hidden behind a lender's lead-capture funnel or written so thinly that they obscure the math. LoanCalc.tech exists to fix that. We publish free calculators that match the formulas regulators actually require โ€” RBI's reducing-balance EMI framework, the CFPB's APR-and-Loan-Estimate framework, the Bank of England base rate framework โ€” and explain the result in clear English, with worked examples in real money.

Methodology & fact-checking

Editorial independence

LoanCalc.tech does not accept payment from lenders, banks, brokers, or affiliate networks in exchange for favorable rate ranges, calculator placements, or article content. We may run anonymous display advertising via standard ad networks; those advertisers have no input into our editorial calendar, formulas, or comparisons. If we ever introduce affiliate links to lenders, they will be clearly labelled and never affect the rate ranges or comparisons in our guides.

Privacy & data

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your loan amounts, rates, and inputs never leave your device โ€” they're not transmitted to any LoanCalc.tech server. Only your locale and currency preference are saved locally so the calculators feel familiar on return visits. Read the full privacy policy for specifics.
